Purchased this to apply pesticide to wooden fence posts. I like the translucent design so you can see the contents. The spraying mechanism is easy to adjust. Would recommend.

PLEASE HELP in Maryland…I’m overrun with cave crickets. I have glue boards down in my rec room, which is partially below ground on the front of my home, and open in the back of the home to a concrete floor enclosed sunroom, which opens to a concrete patio. I have been battling these spawn of satan for years and if I can’t get it under control, I’m nuking the house. They are starting to move upstairs where we sleep and I will die if I can’t get them out. That said, I’ve been reading about bithor, is that the only insecticide I will need, or would I need to apply something different in my basement gym, which is almost entirely below ground.

Did you check our Cave Cricket article? It details what you need to do. Essentially you need to identify where they might be nesting. Sounds like its either behind the walls of the rec room or if you have any type of “crawl space” there, attached or leading to the front patio.

If the rec room has finished wall built over concrete foundation, you’ll need to get our Deltamethrin Dust behind the walls.

For the open patio, sunroom and the entire exterior of the home, you’ll need to spray with our Bithor.

Lastly, I suggest getting our cricket traps; they use a super strong attractant crickets can’t resist and will do a better job compared to what you’re using. That being said, if you hit their “nest” sites using the Dust and Bithor, the problem will be over.
