PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: This is first of our true “commercial” units of the four. It will work equally well on any animal like Armadillo, Bats, Cats, Deer, Dog, Mice, Raccoon, Rats, Skunk, or Rabbit. Other features include the ability to power it by either the included AC converter or a 9-12 volt battery. The battery could be a deep cycle marine 12 volt boat type or some type of rechargeable battery in the 9-12 volt range. This model is best suited for indoor installations where a constant power supply via AC is available. That being said, it’s important to understand that some of the settings are truly ultra sound – not detectable by humans – but some of the settings may be heard by people. If you need to use one of the settings which can be heard (detectable by humans), you may want to make sure the unit is placed away from living areas and hidden in areas like attics or crawl spaces.
WHERE TO USE IT: This unit can be used Inside or Outside. When installing the unit outside, you can try one of the Ultra Sound settings at first. However, if this does not provide the results you expected, adjust it up to one of the audible settings. This is commonly needed due to the vast expanse of space involved when using sound repellents outside. In large open areas, it’s hard to get the alarming and irritating sound concentrated enough to effect target animals. In order to accomplish this, a wider range of frequency must be used which will result in the sounds being audible.
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT PETS: The use of Ultra Sound cannot injure animals including pets. As explained above, the sounds emitted will make certain animals uncomfortable and want to move elsewhere. But the range of sound is variable and specific. That means if you are trying to repel rats or bats and dial in that setting, dogs and cats won’t mind the sound even though they can hear it.
TARGET ANIMALS: Armadillo, Cats, Dogs, Deer, Flying Squirrels, Rats, Squirrels, Raccoon and Skunk
COVERAGE: For small animals like rats, flying squirrels and squirrels, use one machine per 1,000 sq/ft of attic space. For larger animals like armadillo, cats, deer, dogs, etc., coverage can be up to 2,000 sq/ft.

Hi there, my customer has a very serious bat problem in all of the chalets of a roof truss. Please introduce me to which devices can really work and repel the bats away. ASAP. Urgent!

If you review our Bat control article, you’ll see we list several ultra sound devices that can work. Each is unique in that they have different coverage, different mounting options, different power settings, some are weather resistant; some are not, etc. Here’s a brief overview.
For outside applications (when you need to place a unit where it might get wet), go with the Yard Gard or the most powerful unit, the Ultrason 4S. The Yard Gard will be good for small areas; the Ultrason has 4 separate speakers and can cover a much larger area.
For inside applications, the Transonic is good for small areas. For large open ceiling spaces like you’d encounter in a warehouse, the QB4 would be better suited.

Great Results! Spoke at length with ya’ll about rat infestation in my attic…I wanted the easy fix and ya’ll told me I had to do excluder and remove the scent trail and droppings…Had a local contractor do that and replace insulation and I still had rats in the attic…Then– and only then did you recommend that I go ahead and use the sonic Repeller (which the local/national exterminator said would not work) and they are GREAT…When I plugged in the first one I heard rats scurrying away in the walls…Over two weeks, with four unit covering the attic in a silent signal, I believe they are gone at last! Thanks for your sound advice and the sound solution! See what I did there…You guys are the best!
